CSI Bangkok is the Asian R&D affiliate of Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI), the California-based company behind ETABS, SAP2000, CSiBridge, SAFE, and other widely-used structural engineering software. The office is located at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Science Park in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
The team focuses on developing new software tools, creating educational content, and providing technical resources that support CSI’s global user base. This includes web applications, plugins, documentation, training materials, and specialized utilities that complement CSI’s desktop applications.
Current work includes web-based applications for structural analysis, educational content and webinars, plugin development for CSI desktop software, and specialized tools for bridge and column design. The team also contributes to documentation, verification examples, and training resources.

Dr. Naveed Anwar leads CSI Bangkok, bringing over 25 years of experience in structural engineering software development. Before joining CSI in 2000, he developed RISA Section for RISA Technologies. His background spans both academic research and practical software engineering.
At CSI Bangkok, he oversees the development of new tools and educational initiatives while maintaining connections with the broader structural engineering community through speaking engagements, webinars, and publications.
